Often mistaken for a butterfly, the Madagascan Sunset Moth is one of the most spectacular insects in the world. Unlike most moths, these remarkable creatures are active during the day, allowing their iridescent wings to catch and reflect sunlight in dazzling shades of emerald green, sapphire blue, violet, gold, copper, and magenta.

Each wing is carefully preserved between two pieces of crystal-clear glass that I hand-cut and shape to fit the individual wing. Using the Tiffany stained glass method, the glass is finished with lead-free silver solder, creating a lasting keepsake that protects the delicate wing while allowing its natural beauty to be admired from both sides.
No molds, templates, or mass production are used. Every pendant is handcrafted and every wing is naturally unique, ensuring that no two pieces are exactly alike.
Ethically Sourced
All Sunset Moth wings are ethically sourced from butterfly and insect sanctuaries after the insects have completed their natural life cycle.
These sanctuaries support conservation, education, and sustainable breeding programs, allowing these extraordinary creatures to be appreciated long after their journey has ended.
